I've started to revisit some of my past photography to see if I can find interesting images that may have escaped getting an airing. Whist looking for bush tucker images I had another look at my Central Australian shots. The Ochre Pits stood out due to the bright blue of the polarised skies. They are in the West MacDonnell Ranges close to Alice Springs. The pits have been used by aborigines for centuries to prove ochre for their ceremonies.
