Tar

On Sunday I wandered down to Darling Harbour to take photographs of Plastiki for work. On the way back I crossed Pyrmont Bridge of which I have a virtual exhibition of it here: http://www.tombrown.id.au/monochrome/monochrome.html. The bridge has tar covering the surface in abstract patterns. I was reminded of Eric Myrvaagnes series Tar Gazing which can be seen here: http://myrvaagnes.com/Tar/index.php. I decided to do my own series which can be seen below. I find it very interesting to see how the colour of the tar can change from black to white depending on the direction of the sun.
